QA in the Third Mission
The Department monitors Third-Mission activities "in order to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement actions", as set out in its 2020-2022 three-year plan.
For 2018-2019, the findings of Third-Mission annual monitoring are presented in the 2018 Annual Report and the 2019 Annual Report.
As part of the system set up by the University's governance team, particularly the Deputy Rector for the Third Mission, Impact and Cultural Activities, and coordinated by the Deployment of Intellectual Property and Innovation Division (Divco), in 2020 the Department started monitoring its Third-Mission activities for the five-year period 2015-2019.
This process, managed by the Department's Third-Mission delegate, Prof. Eleonora Mastropietro, uses guidelines and data sheets (prepared by Divco) that are inspired by the Guidelines for completing Annual Third Mission and Social Impact Data Sheets (SUA_TM/IS) for Universities issued by ANVUR in November 2018.
The findings are presented in the Annual Monitoring Report.
In July 2020 a Department Third-Mission Committee was set up to pursue monitoring activities and identify strategic Third-Mission initiatives. The Committee oversees the production of monitoring documents and prepares guidelines for enhancing the range of Third-Mission initiatives launched by Department members as of 2021-22.
